My Son loves this book

The words of my kids, "I loved it, mom" "Gizmo, is my favorite". Loved the realistic nature of the book with the added imagination and adventure. Great book and will be part of our story time!

This book is a great read for all ages. The author has a great imagination and goes in such detail, I feel like I am "in" his book. Highly recommended.

This book is one of my five year old's favorites! He adores the idea of swinging so high that he might end up in the clouds! It leads to great discussions of what he would do if he ended up in the clouds. We talk about how the characters feel...how does the mother feel seeing her son in the clouds, what do you think the policeman/teacher/students/aliens feel during the story, etc. When we are swinging he brings up the ideas of swinging so high which tells me that the book made an impression on him not only while reading it but also in the days to follow. He's really thinking about it and it's helping expand his imagination! As a parent I really appreciate the illustrations and how they represent a diverse racial makeup. This book is a great book to add to your child's home library!
